Indonesia Inflation at 3.61% in 2017

Jakarta | 2nd January 2018

Inflation of Consumer Price Index (CPI) in December 2017 is recorded 0.71% (mtm) and overall in 2017 it reaches 3.61% (yoy), within the targeted inflation range of 4±1% (yoy).

Going forward, inflation is estimated to be at the 2018 inflation target, i.e. 3.5±1%. Policy coordination between the central and regional governments and Bank Indonesia will be consistently reinforced in inflation control.
