Hong Kong Latest Foreign Currency Reserve Assets at $440.3 Billion

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today (Monday) that the official foreign currency reserve assets of Hong Kong amounted to $440.3 billion as at the end of March 2018 (end-February 2018: $443.4 billion)

” HONG KONG foreign currency reserve assets at $440.3 Billion in April 2018″

Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, the foreign currency reserve assets of Hong Kong at the end of March 2018 amounted to $432.7 billion (end-February 2018: $434.8 billion).

The total foreign currency reserve assets of $440.3 billion represent about seven times the currency in circulation or 47% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
