Philippines International Reserves at $80.1 Billion in April 2018

Manila | 7th May 2018

Preliminary data showed that the country’s gross international reserves (GIR) level as of end-April 2018 slid marginally to US$80.1 billion from the end-March 2018 GIR of US$80.5 billion.

Net international reserves (NIR), which refer to the difference between the BSP’s GIR and total short-term liabilities, likewise decreased by US$0.5 billion to US$80 billion as of
end-April 2018 from the end-March 2018  level of US$80.5 billion.
